Description

The CDI Advanced Skills Foundation Program is a three-day comprehensive train-the-trainer program focused on providing participants with the opportunity to experiment with new approaches in demonstrating and applying Coaching Core Competencies. We support you in anchoring and integrating a deeper understanding of the competencies, and will effectively prepare you to teach and mentor your future learners.

Program participants will have many opportunities to learn about the CDI approach to teaching ICF Coaching Core Competencies by simulating delivery of mini lessons. Exercises, practices and concepts discussed during training will be sequenced to deepen and accelerate your learning. Six follow-up teleclasses will support your practice and business development. We will explore new questions that arise for the participants, answer questions about client application and continue to deepen our understanding of the competencies.

At CDI, we believe all learning stems from integrating personal experience. Participants are encouraged to be fully present and willing to explore their own experience with the intention of transferring the learning to their own group facilitation. During training we invite you to explore your feeling/sensing body, tap into your inner knowing, integrate your understanding, and create a deeper learning. This process allows us to set aside previously conditioned responses and open up to new possibilities.

Program curriculum & benefits

During the 3 day session you will actively design you own program, and focus on skills practice. This will enable you to deliver the CDI coaching program with the confidence and credibility that comes from practice and an understanding of the learning experience. We will also facilitate peer support feedback using a coaching approach.

To become certified to deliver the CDI Advanced Skills program you will need to demonstrate competency, meet requirements, deliver 2 mini lessons, and receive a positive evaluation by class peers and facilitators of the train the trainer program.

Options:

Option A - $3,000 + GST incl. Training, License to deliver the program, extensive materials, teleclasses
Option B - $1,800 + GST incl. Training, Participant Workbook

Option A - Value and benefits you will receive:

Three (3) days of experience-based, hands-on training which permit you to actively design your own program, and focus on skills practice;
A comprehensive facilitator’s manual, in-class resource materials, and one participant workbook;
Instructional feedback and support by ICF MCC- and PCC-certified professional coaches;
A formal evaluation of your training abilities;
Experience delivering 2 mini lessons;
A one time license fee to lead this program will be remitted on your behalf and is valid for two years. Thereafter, participation in a refresher program and license renewal will be required to keep current with International Coach Federation (ICF) requirements;
Information on how to integrate the CDI Advanced Skills Foundation Program into an organization’s existing training initiative;
On-going support from committed coaching professionals. Six (6) bi-monthly teleclasses will be recorded. You are required to participate in three (3) out of six (6) teleclasses;
An opportunity to purchase participant workbooks at a reduced rate;
Ongoing mentor coaching available for a supplement. Please contact CDI for more information.
